Statkraft BLP set up a rooftop solar project for SAMHI hotels’ latest venture in Pune, Maharashtra. This was completed under the CAPEX model where the system is owned and utilized by the project owners. The 67.2 kWp plant commissioned in October 2017 is expected to save approximately 625 tonnes of carbon emission over its lifetime. With an annual generation of 102 MWh, the property can look forward to increased reliability of power supply and reduced price fluctuations.
- Since the project was built on the 10th floor of the building where strong winds prevail, a heavy duty ballast foundation was used for the structure.
- Project was executed while the hotel was operational. Precise planning and execution helped nullify noise and prevent discomfort to guests staying at the property.
- Executed on time in peak monsoon rains
- Built with Statkraft’s Global Quality, Health and Safety Standards
