Itiva Chopra

Itiva Chopra is an attorney admitted to practice in New York and New Delhi and is a director at Bharat Light and Power Limited.

In 2008, Itiva worked as an Associate in the Corporate Department at India’s leading law firm, Amarchand & Mangaldas and Suresh A. Shroff & Co, at their New Delhi office, where she focused on foreign investments into India including takeovers, stock acquisitions and joint ventures. Prior to this, she worked in in the Corporate department in one of New York’s leading law firms Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where she concentrated on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, contested takeovers and restructurings.

Itiva graduated from Delhi Public School, New Delhi in 1994. She received her bachelor’s degree from Hindu College, University of Delhi in 1997 and a law degree from the Faculty of Law in New Delhi in 2000. She went on to get a Masters in Law at New York University School of Law in 2002 where she concentrated on corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions and securities regulation. While at NYU she was the LL.M. Representative on NYU International Law Society’s Executive Board. Itiva is involved in various associations. She is a member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Bar Council of Delhi, past president of Young FICCI Ladies Organization, and a spouse member of Young President Organization.

Marthe Hoff

Ms. Hoff holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the University of San Francisco, USA and was previously in Statoil Fuel and Retail AS in Norway with more than 25 years of experience from energy marketing and trading, contract negotiations and business development. Ms. Hoff has expertise in different products and disciplines including crude trading, methanol sales, logistics like shipping and storage but also macro analysis and financial investments. Ms. Hoff has been in different types of management roles in Statoil, and for several years she was the President of Statoil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd Singapore.

Magne Borgund

Magne Borgund, Norwegian citizen, has a dual-degree CEMS Master in International Management and a Master of Science in Strategy and Management from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen, Norway and the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Professional career started with Statkraft Markets GmbH in Düsseldorf in 2007 as Cross Border Trader.
From 2009 to 2013, he established Statkraft’s Energy Management Centre for the company’s UK portfolio.

In 2013, Magne joined Statkraft Markets Pvt. Ltd. in India. Upon assuming the role as Managing Director in 2014, Magne and the team succeeded in positioning Statkraft Markets as an innovative and successful trading company, providing supply services to industrial and commercial companies as well as optimizing production from hydro power assets.

After returning to Europe, Magne assumed the role as Vice President and Head of Business Development in Statkraft Markets GmbH in 2016 and is now responsible for developing Statkraft’s service offering across the globe in a changing energy landscape.

Tejpreet S Chopra

As the former CEO and President of GE, TP carries a great experience in business development and strategic management in energy sector. His brainchild, Bharat Light and Power, being India’s leading renewable energy company is a proof of his business foresightedness and vision. He is a Young Global Leader on World Economic Forum. His education includes BA (Hons) in Economics, St Stephen’s College, Delhi University and MBA, Cornell University.

Management

Pratyush K Thakur, Chief Operating Officer

Pratyush has a diverse experience of working in engineering, finance and investments, risk management, M&A and business development. He headed the Solar and Risk department in Statkraft Markets prior to which he was an investment manager at PTC India Financial Services responsible for transactions involving investments into power projects. He has studied Engineering and MBA at Delhi College of Engineering and IIT Delhi respectively and also holds Chartered Financial Analyst and Energy Risk Professional certifications.

Krishnan Rajagopalan, Business Development Head

Krishnan Rajagopalan has an experience of over 17 years. He is the former Solar Businesses Head of Anchor by Panasonic and has also worked for Tata Power and Thermax. He has a diverse experience in the field of renewable energy and has handled many technologies including Solar, Biomass, Bio-gas, Waste Management, Wind etc. Krishnan is a chemical engineer and has a Management Development (MDP) degree to his credit from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. He also holds Power Market Leadership & Renewable Energy, Business Operations Management and Internal Auditor (by LRQA) certifications.

Lalit Mogha, Head Project Development

Lalit Mogha has 15 years of total experience and worked in various segments of manufacturing & Projects. Since 2008 he is associated with Solar sector when he engaged in the manufacturing of Polycrystalline silicon solar modules in Moser Baer, Greater Noida. He has vast experience in Engineering, Construction and Project Management functions having worked for Adani, Godrej & Boyce etc. He has also worked extensively in Purchasing and Supply Chain. His cross functional experience help him in managing the projects more effectively. Lalit holds a Bachelors and Master Degree in engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences- Pilani.

Sathyasagaran Panneerselvam, Senior Manager – Procurement

Supply Chain Professional with around 12 years of experience in various functions of SCM which includes Demand Planning, Procurement, EPC Contracting, Project Costing, Manufacturing, ERP, Warehousing, Inventory Management, Imports and Logistics on Techno-commercial roles. Sathya has over 500MW of solar supply chain experience while working with SunEdison and was part of Green field Car plant project while working with Tata Motors. Sathya is a mechanical Engineer and a Management graduate with Finance and Operations as specialization.
